The first home I was lucky enough to photograph this year belongs to two amazing people – Dan and Amanda from E for Ethel. Their house has the same homely, colourful vibe as their wonderful shop (which you need to visit if you haven’t already) with plenty of pieces from Ethel artists making it onto their walls as well as lots of great retro finds! Such an sweet place!
This little guy is utterly adorable, and has some of the loveliest parents ever. After hanging out with them to do their maternity shoot in December, I was lucky enough to meet little Charlie just a few weeks later!
Here’s just some of the awesomeness that went down at Kate and Luke’s wedding:
Handmade wedding dress!
Star Wars figurines and dinosaurs!
Smudgy red lipstick kisses!
It was such an amazing day, one that is very close to my heart.
To say that Kate and Luke had a rough year would be putting it lightly, with Kate’s parents sadly passing away a few weeks apart from each other. In true Kate and Luke style though, they made their day a beautiful celebration of love and family, and as Kate put it, a time to celebrate new beginnings. Kate’s uncle walked her down the aisle and I don’t think he could have been prouder.
There were tears but so much laughter too, I am so grateful to have been a part of it.
Amy and Martyn had such a lovely relaxed approach to their wedding day, which included London cabs, polaroid adventures and the most amazing bunches by Robyn May Flowers. Also, check out the groom’s cufflinks..the best.
These two are just such lovely people with a beautiful group of friends and family. They had so many nieces and nephews running around, even crashing their first dance, brilliant!
For part three of this little series, I present the home of Daniel and Emma! They are designers who live in an amazingly colourful, smile-inducing home with their cute little sausage dog! They were kind enough to let me come and hang out for a bit to capture it all!
Earlier this year (much earlier!) I visited some awesome Adelaide homes for Dear Eleanor. I thought I’d share them with you in a couple of posts!
First up is the gorgeous home of local creative couple Kyrie and Denis. Kyrie is the amazing soul behind Messagemark (awesome cards, DIY decoration kits and prints!) and Denis is the photographer behind the ball of light series (he was actually on the road travelling for one of these photoshoots when I visited them.)
I spent the morning hanging out with the lovely Kyrie, drinking tea and exploring their wonderful retro house!
Matt and Chantelle, I really can’t find the words to say how lovely you two are. Such a sunny, beautiful couple, with an awesome sense of humour and amazing taste in socks (you will see what I mean). I just love these two!
My beautiful friends have two adorable children, Kai and India.
They are two of the cheekiest, funniest, most loved and loveable kids you could ever meet.
We trecked down to their backyard, both of them carrying handfuls of popcorn to fuel the adventure. They laughed, hugged, pulled ridiculous faces, told me hilarious stories, and were more than happy to demonstrate their “scary roars”, the whole time running at top speed around their yard.
